Server 2008 File Server

Hi all,

 

In recent days I had a couple of pupils come to me saying their work is "missing". Naturally I asked if they have saved it and they said yes. It is a part of their coursework so they wouldn't lie about it. We are running a Hyper-V Server 2008 R2. I checked the event logs and two weeks ago I had a multitude of NTFS errors about the file structure being corrupt. If you need any more information let me know. I'd appreciate the help as I don't want to be bombarded with missing work :|

make sure you have a current backup, run any raid diagnostics, or chkdsk, let it reboot and do a full checkdisk for any issues/errors.
