Google what do you mean the domain was the same the requested domain? I put the records in place for this so how is it now wrong?

We have reviewed the application’s eligibility for approval and we see that the domain is different from the Institution URL. So to confirm the domain’s relativity with the school we humbly ask for the principal of the institution to send us an email to confirm the G. Suite account will be used on behalf of the institution and not in favor of a group, organization, class or a teacher related to the institution or outside of it.

Just get the headteacher to respond to Google's e-mail and they will approve the domain for G Suite for Education. It doesn't take long.

I've had the exact same message when setting up G Suite on a .net domain instead of the usual schoolname.county.sch.uk. The former became the school's primary domain (because it's shorter) and I later added the .sch.uk domain as a secondary domain in the same G Suite tenant.

No we are an Independent School so have never had a .sch.uk domain. They want to see a whole series of other doc's as well to prove we are non for profit.

We had to do this, didn't take long. Just sent them a copy of an invoice for our phone line as the number appears on our website. And a link to the dfe page for the school. They phoned me as well.
