XIBO on amazonz Firestick - any tips

Hi all.

 

Setting up some firesticks with xibo on. Is working nicely. May only concern is that on the odd occasion xibo crashes (which it starts up by itself again pretty quickly) the normal amazon home screen is displayed. This often has innaproriate content (walking dead etc) which even with parental controls on the content is displayed. Also I would prefer not to have an account attached to the device but if I log out of the firestick it will contantly nag for an account.

 

Any ideas?

Block internet access to the sticks on your proxy or firewall?

I dont really want to block internet access as it wont be able to update news etc. I may try and see where its connecting to though and block it talking back to amazon. Cheers for your help

Been a while, but I used to have a program on my Firestick called Firestarter (looks like it's AppStarter now - App Starter XDA ) which you could set to auto load any program, used it for launching kodi.
