Google apps for Education encryption - is this a solution?

I know that Office 365 has free built in email encryption and I can't find that Google has (only between googles servers or those it trusts). The only thing I can find for Google is G Suite Message Encryption (GAME) which costs.

 

I just found this extension, CryptUp, on the Chrome store, it says it uses the PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) standard. Is this ok for meeting the latest security requirements if sending an email that might contain details of a child? Has anyone else used this that is using Gsuite for Education?

Do you have to pay for O365 email encryption? I see mentions of it for free for education but no way to enable it

We won't pay for it. It is included in the Azure Rights Management licence.

Sorry to hijack the original thread. I set up OME (why you need powershell for one little bit is weird), but what's the point? What threat does it mitigate? Either I can intercept your emails, in which case I can get the OTP, or I can't.
