DSapseid Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Its not free but 'Dragon Naturally Speaking' is amazing, my dad uses it and its really clever. Takes a bit of setting up but once you have done it it can open/close applications start new mail messages etc. really cool.
enjay Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 http://www.microsoft.com/enable/products/windowsvista/speech.aspx for Vista. I can't say I've played with it myself, but there are some videos on YouTube of people doing it.

Joanne Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 in office there is the voice recognision thing...I toyed with it for a while and it was good... except everyone knew what you were doing... Had do read the wizard of oz to train it too... most amusing! Take it this kid will have their own laptop... otherwise won't you be installing it on all the computers?
