Block Microsoft Edge via AppLocker?

Hi,

 

Please see the image below. To be more specific the 2 policies denying Exam Students.

I have tried both blocking the .exe file and the path containing all of the Microsoft Edge files. Also tried C:\Windows\SystemApps\.

 

Unfortunately, W10 being W10, it is being non-functional. Am I missing something?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated, we are able to block Edge with AB Tutor, for the time being, however, this is not ideal.

Yes. You're creating the rule in the wrong place.

 

Edge is a Packaged app.

I also tried this:

Which was doing it via the packaged app area.

Got the policy on there now, tried a different machine.
