Veeam Editions - which one

Looking to purchase Veeam and I'm trying to decide which version of essentials to go for.....

 

Do I go for Standard or Enterprise?

 

Which edition do other people use?

We use Standard. It *really* depends what functionality you need. Are there features in Enterprise you need?

I'm basically looking to backup to 2 boxes and Azure using cloud connect - reading the different edition I don't think I need any of the Enterprise features apart from the WAN accelerator but I'm sure I could live without that as cloud connect does come as standard in all editions.

Don't buy into the Azure support straight off - Cloud Connect requires a middle man. Ie. a company providing their own cloud offering that works with Cloud Connect. They themselves may be hosting on Azure, but you can't use Cloud Connect to back up direct to Azure.
