Hello,

 

I'm wondering if it's possible to import report data into POS Tracking Entry. All our report data is in Subject specific marksheets and I want to put it into the POS so I can use the summative analysis tools.

 

Or is there a way I can get the KPI breakdown e.g. (% of PP at ARE or Above) for each subject from a marksheet?

Hi @Glyder,

 

If you have a column on a marksheet that has an aspect for storing if pupils are ARE/Above then if you right click on the column heading and select 'show grade distribution' it will give you % above/are etc. If you filter the marksheet for PP/Non PP it will give you those figures for the filtered groups.

 

Obviously, doing it this way you have to go through each subject individually. A faster alternative is to use aspect analysis, to list all the ARE/Above aspects as rows, ARE/Above as a column pattern (this should make sense when you go through the aspect analysis wizard). You would then need to filter the analysis showing all subjects for PP/Non PP.

If I'm reading your question correctly the data is outside SIMS? I am pretty sure that you can use spreadsheet import to get PoS Aspect results into SIMS. It easiest if you export from SIMS to form your data collection sheets and then reimport them but it is possible to define input cols and import into SIMS AM.
