chrisa Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 When one of our images was rolled out the region settings got over looked. Now all the PC's are set to "US" not "UK" As a result the @ key and the " key are the wrong way round on the keyboard. If we change the region settings in control panel when we reboot and logon as a different user the settings go back to "US" I have added a VB Script to the logon to change the HKCU\Keyboard Layout\Preload\1 value but is hasn't made a difference. Anyone got any ideas?

SYNACK Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 When doing it manually in Control Panel > Regional and Language Options did you try ticking the "Apply all settings to the current user account and to the default user profile" checkbox on the bottom of the Advanced tab?
hoocmee Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 try opening the language bar from the taskbar and then settings and change 'default input language'
