Testing the waters - our own GTA V FiveM or GTA:Network RP server?

Would anyone be interested in us having our own GTA V modded server? Potentially as an RP (roleplay) server?

 

Developing one would take a bit of time, but I think it would be quite a fun thing to do, and with enough people willing to play on it, could be a laugh for a few hours of play.

 

The beauty of the 2 frameworks - FiveM and GTA:Network - appears to be that they are ridiculously easy to develop for. I could imagine developing our own custom heists etc...

 

What do people think?

I haven't actually looked into modded servers for gta V, could be interesting, but I don't think we have that many active gta players.

That's kinda why I posted. I know some people on here used to be keen GTA Online players, but don't know the current state of it all.

I used to play GTA:O but stopped when it seemed like every server had someone using cheats... Would definitely be interested in this!

Yeah, me also. I'm fed up of constantly being blown up by bored peeps in public servers just because they don't want to do what I want to.

Booted up GTAV the other day after I posted... It's on my SSD. AND THE LOADING TIMES LIKE OMG I COULD HAVE DIED WAITING WHY DO THIS TO ME AREN'T GAMES SUPPOSED TO GET BETTER OVER TIME I MEAN COME ON ROCKSTAR

 

Oh, wait, I moved it off my SSD because it takes 70GB of space... Wow. Not sure whether to move it back or not, it'll take some major reshuffling before I can free up a third of my SSD.

For such a server to be successful, we'd need a fair few more players. 10+ at least.

I finally managed to get gta v download last night and playing for the first time. If anyone fancys some gta online with a newbie pm me.
