ItsOggy Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Hi all, what is everyone's opinion of switching to Defender for AV? So I'm finishing my W10 rollout this Easter, by default I deploy an image and Defender is running and updating until I push our AV out, sort of as a failsafe! I'm a bit cavalier with updates and the PC's just update direct from MS, no WSUS, did the same with 7 for years without an issue! So I'm thinking, do I just leave them with Defender running and leave the extra AV?

Guest kiest90 Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Personally I wouldn't use it due to the lack of reporting and central management capabilities
sparkeh Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 If you are leaving them unmanaged then no, if you are using sccm then yes.
