Meru AirPlay

Struggling to get airplay to work with a Meru wireless network.

 

The AirPlay Mirroring on the iPad won't see the device running the LonelyScreen application.

 

Does anyone know if I need to make any changes within the Meru controller?

If you're devices are on different vlans you'll need to setup the bonjour gateway on the meru controller and make the vlans broadcast to other vlans. This was setup for us when we had the controller put in so I don't know too much about it.

On our system for airserver we had to tick "allow multicast flag" and appletalk.

 

(Not even sure Appletalk is needed now for airserver)

Hi, just wondered if you could tell me more on how you got this working without enabling multicast - I'd rather not enable this as it seems to flood my network. Cheers.
