Supporting Multiple Sites- VPN or Remote Access

How do you guys handle multiple sites?

I currently use remote desktop but would I be better off using VPN?

Well we put everyone in a MAT into a MPLS WAN with a centralised firewall so remote users can remote dial-in VPN or sites "off-net" can create a static IPSEC tunnel back to the centralised firewall from their connection extending the LAN.

I use a product called screen connect, install on user machines/servers the you can access any machine remotely using internet connection.. works like teamviewer but is easy to manage different sites into groups.. works on windows & mac.

Vpn / MPLS is the way forward.

Mpls or a Sophos Utm with REDs (remote Ethernet devices)
