RM SafetyNet Filtering Price Increase

Has anybody else got a letter for SWGfL recently regarding a demand to make a £895 per annum payment for RM SafetyNet from September 2017?

 

Feel like I've been caught in a 'bait 'n' switch' con as we've just put an order in with SWGfL directly as we're moving away from getting a SWGfL direct from our LEA. The price agreed on the order was RM SafetyNet filtering plus was £230.34 per annum.

RM has always been expensive, but I certainly resent their assumption that if they put up prices we will just pay up. Cc4 costs up 7% this year....can't see any justification for that....and virus protection and mail security increases by several multiples of annual inflation. Now looking to see what we would save moving away.

@FragglePete I know I'm a bit late to notice this, but the price hike was due to the fact we're all being moved to the User Based Filtering regardless so that users activities are logged (since the cheaper version only logged users site visit if they used the staff proxybypass, otherwise it was all anon.)

 

I just got confirmation of when SWGfL want to remote connect to install the Unify client/password sync on the DC's during the holiday so it's already ready for users when they get back as I'd heard nothing since the initial letter back in March.
