yassine1641 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Hello All, I am probably just pipe dreaming but i have been thinking and like the idea of introducing something new and cool to our university. I want to bring something to the university that they either can't do or don't have but that can have a big impact. Just wondering if any of you have introduced something you would class as revolutionary at your university that made a difference to teaching and learning. Interested to hear what other people have done or are doing. Cheers
steve Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 I guess this depends if you are talking teaching or research. The biggest thing implmented where I work that has had a significant impact on teaching is lecture capture: Lecture Capture - Sonic Foundry For research, big data is where the funding appears to be coming from so programming (R, GIS, MatLab) adn high perfomance computing.
