speckytecky Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 We explored Hosted SIMS a while ago and seeing as it was in its infancy decided to stay ground based. Can anyone out there using it offer feedback on how it's panning out, please?

Can anyone out there using it offer feedback on how it's panning out, please? We've had hosted SIMS with Scomis for the past 2 years. It's been very reliable and stable. It certainly helps when there are sims upgrades as the IT team no longer have to run solus/push updates which was always an issue (atleast with solus 2/3 for a while) 1

Thanks
RLR Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Can I ask what size school you are and how many users you have? Thanks We are a foundation of 6 schools ranging from ages 3-18. Our student count is roughly 1300 with around 300 staff spread across the sites. We have one SIMS database that controls all schools.
Ms_Kuk Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 I'm currently looking at this. Capita have said they only provide 30 user licences for use of SIMs and the rest would be expected to use the app. Do you know if this works ok?

witch Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 We have it with Capita and after a few teething problems, which were easily ironed out, it seems to have been working OK.
