PotNoodleTech Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 BY super cheap I am talking about the ~£50 ones from less well known brands such as Perestigio? I am thinking cheaper, more disposable tablets maybe the way to go here rather than spending £100+ per tablet. If anyone is using lots of them I would be glad to hear from you!
Danp Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I'll follow this, something I am looking into at the moment as well. Biggest I am finding is, they are not iPads
JackCPickup Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Are you only after Android? Linx tablets are quite alright, Windows 10 but a bit more pricey than what you say.

Sheridan Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 We used a trolley of 35 Asus cheapo 8" ones - they're ok generally speaking. Biggest issue is the wireless not waking up. As the department in question only wanted them for a handful of apps we simply used the 'Kids Mode' on them to lock them down. We were going to buy a load of hudl2's but sadly they disappeared!
internetuser Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Expect support issues. Wifi and charging ports breaking. Normal problem is they are not iPads.
PotNoodleTech Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 Yeh thanks all we're already using cheapo windows netbooks and they are not as reliable on the wireless as the rest of our devices. I've got one Prestigio to test but testing with 1 often does not fully uncover wireless issues. Any more experiences will be welcome!!
