Expanding IP Range

Hi All,

 

I'm just planning on doubling the amount of IPs in the range, i usually use a calulator so have never really learned subnets etc. Our current range is 10.58.157.0 and i wanted to expand it to include the 10.58.158.0 range too.

 

When using a calculator such as below it always puts in 10.58.156 range instead? I know this is probably a simple question, i'm just not very intelligent!

What is your current assignment? /24??

 

Are you with LGFL? If so you need to request it. Most likely they will say no. But as long as you have a use case for it, they shouldnt deny
