Start menu works after a reboot

Morning all,

 

Our students use a mandatory profile, the start menu layout xml applies and works fine with no missing tiles on first logon to a machine. If that student logs off and logs back on the same machine, or any other student logs on for that matter, all tiles are missing on the start menu. Reboot the machine and again - first log on after reboot is fine, from then on it has missing tiles until the machine reboots again.

 

I hope this makes sense, has anyone else come across this?

Make sure the profiles are deleting when logging off? are you sure its a mandatory profile.. sounds like a roaming profile

Yep the profile deletes on log off, and it's definitely a mandatory profile
