Tesla Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Hi All We have VBSScript to Map our drives at logon. majority of the time this works fine, but there seems to be a particular model of PC we have that it just will not map any drives apart from the home drive. If i log on as an administrator, it works, if it's anyone else, no. The computers and users are in the same places in GPO's on other machines, and there's no issue. UAC is disabled. Nothing appears in eventvwr Anyone able to shed any light?
TriggerHappyUK Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) Try using Group Policy Preferences instead of VB Scripts. So much easier to manage. Also, try removing then re-adding the affected PC's to the domain. Edited March 9, 2017 by TriggerHappyUK 1
Tesla Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 Just had a quick look into GPP and can't seem to get the drive i've set up to appear at logon. removing and re adding to domain did nothing
TriggerHappyUK Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Silly question, but are you applying to the User side of Group Policy? Here is what I set, and it works fine...

I was, in my haste I had forgot to do the \\ at the start of the location. This now seems to work, so now to just manage this via the GPO. Thanks!
