The lamp is warranted for 3000 hours or 3 years, whatever comes first, when bought with the projector. The actual lamp life will depend on how well the projector has been maintained. As long as the airflow and temperature is not extreme the lamp can last longer. On the PRM-10 they have normal setting and bright. The 3K hours was for normal mode and not bright. Since bright mode operates the lamp at higher power the "projector lamp hours" are adjusted for that higher use if bright mode is used. The number of hours is still the same 3K.
