cdwyer Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Hi all, Prior to Windows 10 1607 I had a GPO that replaced the winlogonui.pri file allowing me to have a customised Log on screen. I have now upgraded to Windows 10 Anniversary and I know this method no longer works but cannot find one that does. Has anybody successfully changed the logon screen background in Windows 10 1607? if so, how did you do it? Thank you in advance!

Warwick_Tech Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 (edited) The new login screen background is the 'lock screen' Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization. Also worth noting you can't change the 'blue' colour unless you change the themes inside windows. This also only works on the anniversary update as previous versions of W10 force you to have the 'Hero image' Edited March 2, 2017 by Warwick_Tech 1
