Hello,

We have an issue with Powerpoint switching display settings from Duplicating monitor and Interactive Promethean Screen.

If the Interactive screen is turned off, and the Powerpoint gets played full screen then the screen is turned on, when pressing escape to end the slideshow, it switches output options to Digital Screen only, so the monitor has No Signal.

However if the Screen is turned on before slideshow is played full screen, when pressing escape to end the slideshow, it acts normal and keeps it duplicated.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Have a look at this:

https://thomasvochten.com/archive/2016/01/ppt-topology/

It means you can keep the feature enabled (You can disable it via registry as well) but tells it to return to duplicated after ending the show. Only thing staff then do is put a URL link on the PowerPoint, then when they click it the slide show doesn't end to it stays on extended, thus no video. I just advise staff to embed videos where possible or change it duplicated when in the slide show settings.

Thank you for your reply,

This setting is already set as enabled, saw this on another post, but didn't solve our issue.

Thanks.

Only other suggestion I can think of, is to make sure you're using 'proper' Intel/Nvidia drivers and not Windows's own Basic driver. It has resolved the issue sometime ago when I first deployed Office 2016/Windows 10.
