Zammo Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Has anyone got any experience with this product: https://www.securew2.com/products/joinnow/ Are looking for ways to make BYOD smoother, in particular when it comes to installing those pesky certificates for HTTPS encryption (smoothwall is used here). What we really want is a whole package that allows any device to be enrolled and given the correct certs, permissions etc Any thoughts would be welcomed!
Net-Ctrl Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Morning @Zammo , no personal experience of that product, but as an alternative Ruckus have a product called Cloudpath. It works with all WiFi manufacturers. Could be worth a look/condsideration: https://www.ruckuswireless.com/products/smart-wireless-services/cloudpath I wont go through all the features and funcationality, but if you follow that link, all the tabs contain some great info. If you need any more info, please let me know.

I'd be very interested to hear if anyone has any thoughts on this and also the approx. cost . We are just going through this process of trying to make it easier for students to connect to BYOD wireless. Currently we operate a captive portal using Ruckus, however getting the MITM certificate on the device for 1400+ devices is impossible at the moment so we don't do any HTTPS decrypt and inspect on that traffic - not ideal long term.

Cloudpath by Ruckus would do just this for you. It would allow students to onboard their devices before even arriving at school. It's an incredibly impressive platform. We're able to run a demo to show you the platform, and can set up a demo account for you to have a play with, if of interest.

Not unless they have dramatically slashed their pricing in the last 3 months!
Net-Ctrl Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 There is an EDU price list available for Cloudpath now. If you'd be interested in seeing some prices send me a PM with your details, and we will get some options over to you to look at. if the cost looks ok, we can also look to set the demo/trial account up.

Did you implement any on-boarding software?
