Dogsbody23 Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 I have a user with a laptop the has the right click menu pop up randomly when he is typing in outlook. He is using a mouse and keyboard separate from his laptop so I don't think it is any interaction with the touch pad, which was my first suspicion. Has anyone encountered anything like this happening before ? thanks Dogs
DalekSec Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Disable the touchpad? Might be ghosting. 1
6Foot2 Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 If it's a Dell (not Adele) could you connect a mouse and disconnect the glide pad and buttons to see if this is the issue? [You can configure it to disable the glide pad and buttons automatically when a mouse is plugged in] 1
JJonas Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Try this TouchFreeze We now deploy this a standard on all our laptops TouchFreeze is a free and simple utility for Windows that automatically disables the touchpad while you are typing in text. 1
