Waterproof iPad Cases

Our rowing coaches are using iPads to film and one of them ended up at the bottom of the Thames last week. Has anyone used or can recommend a good case for this kind of use? There's loads on amazon, the lifeproof ones look good but they cost nearly as much as the iPad does.

Have you thought about investing in a proper underwater camera which would be so much cheaper and do a better job?

Just a few ideas rather than spend a fortune on a waterproof case!

A Go Pro will also do it. They also have all sorts of weird and wonderful mounts that might make the whole thing easier.

Agree with above don't use an ipad use an underwater "sports" camera.

you want an aquapac one fitted with one of those floats but needs to be able to float the weight of said ipad and case.

Thanks for the suggestions, it's not actually for filming underwater. I think it's to record technique and then show back to the students so a GoPro or regular camera probably wont cut it. I'll take a look at the aquapac cases.

We have used the Overboard range.
