Zammo Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Hello all We are looking at purchasing some new server hardware. A company called Broadberry are coming out cheapest, with all the right specs. They appear to be an reseller and an assembler of servers\desktops etc Has anyone ever used them before? Martin
Norphy Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 My old workplace bought a couple of servers from them about two years ago now. They were keenly priced and delivered fairly quickly. They were based on SuperMicro chassis and performed well enough. They had a remote access module which worked reasonably well but was no iDrac or iLO. Support was more of a mixed bag, for things like HDD replacements were a bit slow and their replacement process seemed convoluted. Have you contacted Stone? They seem pretty keen in the server space at the moment
mikeyw Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Not used them but have had a few quotes off them in the past. Ended up using ETB great price but great support (Refurbished). https://www.etb-tech.com/
jbunoomally Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 I've had a couple of servers off them over the years - basically super micro stuff, but have no qualms using them. JB.
