pheonix1337 Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Hi Everyone, Were looking at implementing byod for students and teachers. We want to have a system where a reacher can walk into a room and connect to a projector with there own device. We also want teachers to be able to use any device they want, Windows, iOS, android, chromeos, etc. Is there a solution that can allow all devices to easily connect to a projector wirelessly? Thanks
theeggmaster Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 (edited) Reflector 2 running on a PC works for us, but you'll probably have to have the BYOD devices and the PC on the same subnet. #edit# I haven't tried Windows streaming, but you may need another tool like AirParrot. Sagima Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 (edited) We use airserver on the pc in the room for that. ios, chromeos and android can connect directly - windows devices need something like airparrot. (if the sender+target is wireless I'm fairly sure win10 can connect to win10 but not if either is on ethernet - this also gives interaction at the pc that affects the mobile device) We do have a lot of epson projectors that can receive wireless input but it's not really used Edited February 2, 2017 by Sagima
