winng Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Hi, I've purchased two additional sata drives to increase the storage on my Dell R720 server which hosts numerous VM's. Currently has 2 x drives for the OS and 4 x drives for the data storage. The latter is RAID0. I've inserted the two new drives and the lights are on. How do I get them to join in?
newpersn Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 I don't think it will allow you to add the Raid 10 as its already built. I'm guessing you would have to put them in to Raid1. and use them as mirror. *please don't quote me on this*

So this morning, the 'reconfiguring' has just completed and now it's 'background initialisation'! Still impacting network performance........
