Thinking of coming down on Saturday, but would necessitate bringing my teenage kids (2 of them). They're up for it - do you reckon anyone would object? Organisers or exhibitors...

Saturday is open to everyone. It's fine... Though, the teenagers may object. :p

Absolutely no problem. I registered my teenage son as my apprentice more than once so he could come with me to BETT. It saves messing round when you get there if they have badges already :)

Good morning from C 381 where it's rather dark because I can't get to the power switch in Smoothwall's cupboard.

Badges counted, lanyards at the ready. The show opens in 45 minutes

EDIT

We has lights :) No interwebz yet though! One step at a time :D

Many thanks to Edugeek for providing my lunch yesterday (nom, pizza!) and a welcome cup of tea at the Edugeek ladies get-together. Best of all I got to meet some of the people behind the Avatars. Special thanks go to @elsiegee40, it was great to meet you.

Today's pizza has been very kindly provided by Net-Ctrl and will be on the stand around 12:30.

Afterwards you can also visit their stand (C63) for a chance to win Lego Star Wars toys and Ruckus dogs :)

Slightly off topic, but I'm really struggling with the BETT app. I feel like I should be able to search for the exhibitors I want to visit, favourite them and then see them on the floorplan, but searching fails to find most (e.g. Edugeek!) and if I try the web version in the hopes of syncing I can't see how I even log in as an existing visitor. Any suggestions?

Give up. The app is, as usual, totally useless

I will try to locate the Edugeek stand anyway! Wish me luck.

Get off the DLR at Prince Regent Station and go in the other end of the Excel Building

Go in door N8

Turn right and then immediately left and head up the aisle past the Press Area and you'll see us opposite the giant bean bags (Smoothwall stand C318)

Come to us first and we'll give you a paper map and help you get your bearings :)

(And equip you with a badge, lanyard and raffle ticket of course!)

Lovely view of Tower Bridge closing as I walked over London Bridge on my way to Monument tube this morning.

Peace and quiet as I tidy the stand making ready for the day ahead. It was manic yesterday!

The show closes at 3pm today. We have 50 colour badges left for the early visitors today, less colourful ones for the later arrivals and around 250 lanyards. :)
