bert113 Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I've been asked to work out a way of tracking when a certain document has been read or...... force users to read the document on a drive before they can continue with their logon. The document is a PDF and resides on one of our network drives which all staff have access to Firstly is this possible? Has anyone come across this before?? Any help or pointers would be appreciated... (apologies if this is the wrong forum) D
ReadTheNetwork Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I can think of a 'messy' way to do this. Have a script run an intranet page with a link of the PDF, a checkbox to confirm they've read and agreed which saves the results in a database. If the name isn't in the database that they've read/agreed then run the script at logon. how big is the PDF?
