Paid_Peanuts Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Can anyone suggest a good TV tuner card capable of recording two channels at once? The card is to be used with Vista. Thanks
steve_nfi Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 I've just recently bought one. Seemed quite good value. Here is a link to it. http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=300944&CatId=237 Sounds like what you'd need. :-)
Ric_ Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 It depends what you want to record with. I have a Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T-500 which has excellent support under both Windows and Linux. I currently use it with Media Center on Vista and it works a treat.

Another vote for the Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T-500 - works a treat in MediaPortal - this is driving my 'media centre' in the living room right now. Also excellent support in MythTV (http://parker1.co.uk/mythtv_about.php) Obviously depends what you need to record - Analogue, DVB-T, DVB-C or DVB-S. the Hauppauge is for DVB-T (Freeview) EDIT: I'm hearing and reading good things about the BlackGold 6 in 1 - which I'm now seriously considering for Freesat's launch later in the spring - free HD channels ftw.
