Stopping a program running at user login

Hi all,

 

I have a piece of software that is installed in our Windows 10 image that automatically opens on login and annoys our users and me!

 

Is anyone aware of a way that I can either uninstall in bulk or simply change a registry key that will stop this from opening on login?

 

The software is Citrix Reciever and the program running is concentr.exe.

 

I have tried as many forums online as I can find and have tried using the admx template settings for citrix as well as some reg key changes and no luck so far. I am running out of options.

If you want to stop it delete the registry key under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Run

 

You can delete it via GPO

Check in the registry under the following key(s):

 

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run

HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run

HKCU\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run

 

If you can find the registry key in here which is launching it at logon then you can deploy a "delete registry key" command from Group Policy Preferences
