The Janet link might be on the status page, but our connection and their sites are still down. I'll phone them in the morning I guess.

Just noticed, http://www.kirklees.gov.uk seems to be affected too.

 

Hope someone's on it in the morning, clearly no-one on call so far.

No phones or emails being answered at Ict4c or Kirklees. Kirklees now have a holding page up, but nothing else. All websites and internet connections remain offline. Anybody from YHGfL reading?

From experience of previous downtime over bank holidays, it won't get looked at until the next working day after the bank holiday. So maybe service will be restored tomorrow? Can't wait for the deluge of emails once it's back up...

Apparently a power problem at the DC in Hudds. Currently being worked on.

Our connection was up temporarily (now off again) sometime in the last 50mins as I had 90 emails come through...

We've been up since 2105, emails coming through, but I'm expecting drops until they say it's all sorted. It's obviously been a tricky situation, but communication should have been better.

Communication was nil for me... except for the email at 22:06 (presumably sent at some point considerably earlier) to say there was a "power issue at Kirklees Data Centre", but as we had no connection we also had no email.

If only they'd make use of their Twitter feed... #facepalm
