Sanyo PLC XE-40 Projector only showing white

Hi guys, i am in the rpocess of starting to service a load of these projectors but the one i have in storage is only displaying a white image, no menu shows when the button is pressed and it is responding to the remote as it turns off but there is nothing but white shown.

Does anyone have any ideas or help

Sounds like the DLP (or is it DMD?) chip is shot. Usually you get white dots but is could have completely gone but still functioning.

I dont know much about the circuitry, but it was working earlier today and now its only showing white

Also might be each colour wheel is stuck open or the mirror mechanisms are gone. In any case it may be ready for the bin I fear.

i figured out the problem, it seems the retaining clips for the ribbons connected to the central colour prism had come loose from the board. Ive found the clips can be a bit fidly but ive never had all 3 come loose before. Thank you though for your support and advice
