This website tracks when rail companies apologise for delays and tabulates how many apologies have arrived today, this week, this month, and this year, by rail company.

In five years over one million apologies have been tweeted out by the various companies tracked on this website. It's been a fun journey, which is more than can be said for a trip with Northern Rail.

 

Maybe one day I'll have enough free time to resurrect the project, but given the changes to the Twitter API, who knows.
