Hi,

We have just purchased a set of iMac's for our music department and all is working well with our Windows network apart from printing..

On the iMac, we can add the printer (drivers installed for mac), connect to the shared printer via Open Directory and send the job successfully, the Windows 2012 R2 server receives it and sends it off it seems, but nothing ever comes out of the printer, with no errors or information in event viewer.

Has anyone come across this before?

- Also for debugging, does anyone know free software which I can run from my computer and listen/capture the IP address of the printer to see if there is any data actually being sent to the printer?

Thanks

I had this the other week and it turned out to be drivers. What version of OSX are you using?

Try removing the printer using the CUPS interface, details here, and re adding it from there.
