Phones query - Alcatel 4039 - setup??

Our phone system is an Alcatel Lucent system, with a 4039 in the main office and 4019 extensions.

 

We changed the answer phone message last week, and now have 2 problems.

 

The message said

 

Press 1 to leave a pupil absence

Press 2 to enter an extension

Press 3 to speak to reception.

 

Then if they pressed 3 and reception was busy / didnt' answer, it would go to voice mail.

 

It is all working, except that on 3, the phone doesn't go to Voice Mail anymore.

 

Also, there is a further message which is still in the 'old voice' when they press 1 and I can't find anywhere in the menu where we can change it.

 

 

We have changed the main part of the messages using this part of the menu

 

Menu

Operator – PASSWORD

Expert

Down Arrow

Voice Mail

Auto Attend

You can then arrow to the left to record the 2nd part, but I can't find anymore messages recorded in there.

 

 

Is anyone familiar with these phones?
