Could anyone using Veeam share their Backup schedule?

I`m implementing Veeam in the next few weeks, planning to backup to our 20tb QNAP TS-869 PRO, currently I backup all our VM`s to this using Backup Assist.

Is it possible to do file level restore using Veeam or should I still use BA for this?

Thanks

Have a search on here, posted them many times :D

And yes file level is possible, no issues with that, can do it by file, by VHD, by VM etc etc.

That depends really on your setup and where you want it processing etc etc.

We use the Veaam server as the main proxy, but have both hosts enabled to do it too (remember it needs direct access to the storage though), but we don't ever use the HOSTS as proxies as the point is that the CPU/RAM overhead for doing the work isn't affecting the main servers etc :p

Is the Veeam server Virtual or Physical, if it is a decent spec physical depending how many concurrent jobs you want to run??

As far as I am aware.

You cannot use a Virtual Veeam Server if you are using FibreChannel.

If Direct SAN is not used it can fail back to network but this would be the maximum of the connection via Management Access. I've got a Veeam Lab at home and it is Virtual, connected to a Virtual SAN via iSCSI and it does do Direct SAN backups.
