Transcript of a talk that's a fascinating, worrying and often hilarious look at how automation is leading us down a blind alley because no-one is taking responsibility for this. Worth reading for the Internet of Things section if nothing else, which is thoroughly tragicomic, but the whole thing is enlightening.

Havn't read the above thing yet but I would imagine that the robot army will end up being commanded by some group of hackers judging by the security problems a lt of the devices seem to have

 

Think I'll stick to the old on/off switch for now
