Duranis Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 I'm having issues with our Wireless Network and looking to get someone in to reconfigure it and do a network health check (its currently set up in a really strange way which makes managing it a nightmare). It is a fairly straight forward setup with nothing fancy going on. Can anyone recommend a company to contact for this, or maybe a sponsor deals with this kind of work? We are based in SE Kent. There are a few I have contacted already but always prefer to go with recommendations from other edugeekers if possible Thanks.
mikkydoos Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 I've had DLink themselves on site to do a survey and spec. Might be worth a call. 2
mukz Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 I've had DLink themselves on site to do a survey and spec. Might be worth a call. DLink Support is actually very good. They created specific software for a customers switches because it didn't do something that it was brought for. 1
Duranis Posted November 24, 2016 Author Posted November 24, 2016 Thanks. I ended up using ncstechnology.co.uk and was seriously impressed. Not only solved the problem but went out of their way to explain what they where doing and why. As a solo tech having someone who takes the time to share knowledge as well as solve the problem was awesome.

Having used them for years now, they are brilliant!
minature_hero Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Yup, I've used Simon and Dean at NCS and they really know their stuff inside out and are willing to explain exactly what and how they are doing so that you can manage things easily once they have finished.
