localzuk Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 One of the staff in another school has had her Mac version of Office updated to the latest, and she has said that she has lost the ability to have 2 inbox lists on the screen at the same time. I have searched high and low how to do this, and it stumping me good and proper. Then again, I don't have a Mac to test with, so am just going by Outlook on my PC.
Steve21 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 I know there was an option that merged the folders on the left into one group by default in the old Mac office. (And you could turn on the setting to split them out into seperate folders) And there was an option to show multiple boxes in one view. Does she mean that? Or actually having 2 mail lists at once? Never seen that before. Steve
localzuk Posted November 17, 2016 Author Posted November 17, 2016 She said she had 2 inboxes shown at the same time, not combined together into one. But has not really elaborated further!
Steve21 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 I think she means the folders on the left. By default Mac seems to (or did ) merge "similar" folders into one view. Turning it off splits it back into individual folders. http://windowsitpro.com/site-files/windowsitpro.com/files/archive/windowsitpro.com/content/content/141278/robichaux_win2522_fig1-lg.jpg Like that on the left if it makes sense. There was an option under preferences, folderlist to ungroup these back to "normal". Might be worth checking if that's what she means Steve
