bossman Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 (edited) Hi All, Looking for this type of PSU (AOpen FSP200-60SAV (PF) computer desktop Power Supply 200W PSU J47) as these are the only units which will fit our cases (8 Year old), refurbished ones will do if the price is right or new ones would be even better if the price is right, last price I paid for 80 refurbished units was £175.00 off eBay but they are literally like rocking horse do do's!! If anyone has any of these I would appreciate a PM or if one of the Sponsors or IT suppliers on here want to pm me with a price then I would be grateful, Thank you Have a good day everyone Regards Bossman Edited November 16, 2016 by bossman
SHimmer45 Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Stone computers sell PSU's for their cases which look very much like that. the newer versions done have the bit on the end sticking out. 1
3s-gtech Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 I have a bunch of these, or something very similar to them, in storage. Will never get used I suspect. PM me tomorrow to remind me to check the model number - they're over the other side of school and are contained within the AOpen cases (NIB) so I'd have to crack one open. 1
davethetekkie Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 If these are the ones I think they are then they aren't standard TFX; there's a little extra notch at the IEC input end which makes them ever so slightly narrower. My last employer had built a whole load of P4 3GHz machines into those cases and I spent a good deal of my first 6 months with the company replacing those PSUs after they were murdered by the hungry CPUs and high temperatures. Not just rocking horse doodoo... Proprietary rocking horse doodoo. Might be easier to look at re-casing the machines frustrating though it is... 1
bossman Posted November 17, 2016 Author Posted November 17, 2016 @davethetekkie We just trying to manage until the summer when we can replace these units with refurbished ones, they are 8 years old after all and they still provide a very good service for their part, they are all dual cores with 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD's and they do run pretty well its just the PSU's that we find hard to get hold of and there is no substitutes that we can find as the later model is too fat for the case.
difinity Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 If you're really stuck bossman those failed supplies you have could always be repaired.
