AnnDroyd Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 (edited) I have a standalone PC, connected to the Internet. There are two local user accounts: staff and student. I wish to restrict the student account so it only has Internet access between certain hours. Is there a simple way of achieving this, or a piece of freeware software that can block certain users according to a schedule? Edited May 1, 2008 by AnnDroyd
powdarrmonkey Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Not sure about doing it natively, but I'm sure I've seen some freeware that will do exactly that. I'll give the think tank a stir and see if I can remember.
Erudit Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Hi There I would give this a go: http://www.download3k.com/Security/Access-Control/Download-Internet-Administrator.html - One of our customers has it to restrict a single PC internet access and they say its good - havent touched it myself though! Must be worth a go as its free ! 1
