Configuring QoS for the first time.

Hi everyone,

 

I am in the process of configuring QoS for the very first time in my life on our Cisco 2960s switches. Is there anything you would recomend I do or is a must and is a industry standard. Throw your book at me for everything I need to know as I know nothing of QoS other than how it is supposed to work over how it is configured.

Cisco consider it a quite a high level task. It only appears in the CCIE and doesn't feature in CCENT, CCNA or CCNP.

 

Its not something I know loads about but like yourself I am looking to configure it.
