Minecraft for education at a non 365 school

Hi All,

 

We're a Google apps for education site and don't use office 365.

 

We used minecraftedu before Microsoft bought it and im alittle confused on what my options are now.

 

Long story short, i was going to continue using our self hosted mincraftedu (1.7.10 build 20) instance. But after we re-imaged the room, i discovered i can longer get the installers!

 

After looking at transitioning to the new platform, it seems that its charged at $5 per user per year and a o365 account is required.

 

Where does this leave school that don't use o365?

Your going to need Windows 10 machines too I believe.
