“A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing”

When booting using a tried and testing USB stick with Windows 7 64bit on I'm really struggling to get it to work on my latest PC's bought from Stone Computers.

 

The error which appears after clicking the Install Now button is:

 

“A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing”

But I've tried...

 

Unplug the USB drive and Plug it back

Switch to Another USB Port

Change the USB Settings in BIOS

 

The BIOS is a ASUS UEFI BIOS version 1801 x64 build date 05/17/2016

I'm really struggling to get it to work on my latest PC's bought from Stone Computers.

What's the model of the motherboard in the Stone PCs? Do they have NVMe PCIe SSDs?

 

Are you installing Windows 7 in UEFI mode? Is the USB flash drive formatted as FAT32 and using the GPT partition scheme?

 

 

Change the USB Settings in BIOS

Did that include enabling the XHCI Hand-off option?

 

Have you tried plugging the USB flash drive into a USB 2.0 port or integrating USB 3.0 drivers?
