Nausing Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Staff onsite Exchange 2010 emails: [email protected] Student Office 365 emails: [email protected] Students can send and receive from external addresses, i.e Gmail.com/Outlook.com Students can send to Staff Exchange email address, i.e [email protected] But when Staff email from their Exchange addresses to Student Office 365 emails, the students don't receive the emails. Can't be DNS as Students receive emails from external addresses. I'm thinking it must be something Exchange is doing with the emails as it can see they are from the same domain but doesn't expect them to be received from an external server maybe. Suggestions? Ty
cpjitservices Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Check the NK2 file with NK2Edit. We have come across this, if you change the internal addresses to from SMTP to EXCH it will work.
Nausing Posted October 10, 2016 Author Posted October 10, 2016 (edited) Check the NK2 file with NK2Edit. We have come across this, if you change the internal addresses to from SMTP to EXCH it will work. Thanks for your reply but from what I understand NK2 files are based on Outlook cache only. The issue is the same with using OWA. Some how one email went to the recipient... since then nothing. EDIT: Seems like Office 365 isn't receiving any emails from my Exchange server. Even if I send to [email protected] but emails are received from Gmail. Edited October 10, 2016 by Nausing
