Firefox can't log in to https sites

I've got the latest version of firefox on my machine but for some reason it wont let me go to any secure (https) sites? Yahoo, ebay etc

 

I can access the sites through IE7 just not firefox... any idea what could be up?

Nope, all the proxy settings are identical in IE7 and FF. I've just installed Opera and am seeing the same issue. No https

Is your proxy intercepting HTTPS rather than passing it along?

check your group policy settings, look out for "Restrict Internet communication":

 

Administrative Templates > System > Internet Communication Management > Restrict Internet Communication

 

If this is enabled, then disable or set to not configured

Touche...I completely didn't notice the date of the post. EduGeek showed me 'similar posts' when I was replying to one similar to this about Chrome!

So easy to do. The date is not that obvious.
