Hi all,

We included Autodesk 123D Design on our image this summer, and it seems to work well on our new Stone machines. We've had no other complaints from anyone about it.

However, one particular student has found a problem whilst working on his project. The program seems to hang when he tries to add a polyline. 123D Design doesn't have a problem opening his project or staying responsive whilst moving around his design and tweaking it. As soon as he adds a new polyline, it becomes unresponsive indefinitely. Reopening the project and trying again does not work. We also tried different PCs, to no effect. His design is not incredibly complex, and is entirely 2D.

I suspected that his project file had somehow corrupted, so I tried exporting his project and importing it into a new project file, which seemed to work for about 5 minutes before it started to hang again.

The strangest thing is that no-one else in his class (that we know of) has had the same problem. It seems to just be him.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue in 123D Design, or any Autodesk software? I'm completely new to the software, and my only experience of it is installing it and making sure it worked when it installed.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
